Food Bank Details: Every Tuesday from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.

Everyone is welcome to join us. The session offers a warm and welcoming space where people can enjoy a hot meal, receive a bag of shopping from our food bank, and relax with free tea, coffee, and soft drinks.

We are a friendly community café located within a local community centre, supporting a range of food-based projects and activities.

My Yard helps people who need support with food, money, health, or work.

After a short check, people can get food and household items, plus help with:

  • Finding work
  • Health and wellbeing

Visitors can access a wide selection of essential food and household items. The offering includes fresh fruit and vegetables, everyday staples such as pasta, cereal, and soups, as well as a dedicated personal hygiene section stocked with soaps, creams, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and other toiletries.

Freshly baked bread is also available, alongside generous donations from Pret, which typically include a varied selection of sandwiches, salads, desserts, and other freshly prepared items.

The fresh food section is usually well stocked, with visitors generally able to select two to three boxes of fresh food per person, subject to availability.

You can get this from one of the local community organisations that work closely with our food bank. They’ll talk to you about your situation, and can issue you with a food bank voucher.
